Descripción de la oferta
The Gene Regulation Lab, an ICREA group at the IDIBAPS Research Institute (Barcelona, Spain) is looking for two postdocs to work on one of the projects in «Gene Regulation of Cellular Plasticity and Differentiation in Inflammation and Cancer». ZEB1 and ZEB2 play key roles in homeostasis and in different pathologies regulating stemness (in normal and cancer stem cells), cellularplasticityand differentiation, tissue regeneration, and
tumor initiation and progression. The successful candidates will work in a dynamic and international group on one of the several projects currently ongoing to study the role of ZEB factors in the regulation of cellular plasticity and differentiation in inflammation or cancer. All projects make use of a wide array of state-of-the-art techniques, and in vitro and in vivo approaches including unique transgenic mouse models and high-throughput and OMICs technologies.
- PhD degree in Biology or related bio-medical discipline obtained not earlier than January 2018.
- Strong publication record with at least 2-3 first-author articles in high impact journals.
- Solid background in Molecular and Cellular Biology.
- Experience in mouse models.
Applicants with proved experience in any of the following areas will receive higher consideration: molecular oncology (colorectal, ovarian), metabolism (cancer, immune), acute and chronic (psoriasis) inflammation, epigenetics, transcriptional regulation, bioinformatics.
