Descripción de la oferta
The predoctoral fellow will work in the NIH-funded Center for Antiviral Medicines and Pandemic Preparedness (CAMPP), focused on the discovery of antiviral agents against SARS-CoV-2 and other pathogenic viruses with pandemic potential. This is a multidisciplinary consortium of world-class Virology, Chemistry, Pharmacology and Structural and Computational Biology laboratories located in North America, Australia and Europe (https://www.campp.org). The successful candidate will join the laboratory led by José Gallego at Catholic University of Valencia (UCV), Spain (https://www.ucv.es) and will apply structural bioinformatics, structural biology and biophysical methods to identify potential drug targets within the structured RNA genome of SARS-CoV-2 and to discover new antiviral small-molecule agents based on viral RNA target recognition.
