The Medicinal Chemistry and Synthesis research group (MCS) at the Institute for Advanced Chemistry of Catalonia (IQAC-CSIC) is offering a postgraduate fellowship for a duration of 5 to 7 months (€600/month), with the possibility of applying for a subsequent PhD fellowship. The fellowship is part of a research project in photopharmacology and protein labelling focused on the synthesis and evaluation of the activity of photoisomerizable compounds targeting β- adrenergic receptors to study their activity in native biological systems.
Expected start date: May/June 2025
Duration: 5-7 months

Perfil buscado
Requirements:
• Academic background: We look for a candidate holding (or near completion of) a Master’s degree (in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or similar).
• Academic record: A minimum academic grade of 8.5/10 is required for both BSc & MSc.
