The Department of Pharmacobiology (CINVESTAV) offers a full Researcher position. The candidate will be expected to use cellular and molecular biology approaches to decipher molecular mechanisms that may be dysregulated in specific pathologies and to generate knowledge that may lead to novel therapeutic advances.
Perfil buscado
The applicant should hold a PhD degree in the field of biology, pharmacology, biochemistry, medicine, biochemistry or similar, with a minimum of two years of international postdoctoral experience and a strong background in molecular biology.
Prior experience in single-cell gene expression analysis, CRISPR/Cas technology and high-throughput screening methods are beneficial.
The candidate should be able to work independently and apply for competitive funding for his/her research. Also, a strong commitment on the formation of MSc and PhD students, teaching in post-graduate courses and collaboration with other members of the faculty is expected. Previous teaching or tutorial experience is desirable.
