Descripción de la oferta
One research focus of our lab centers on the molecular biology of human and murine germ cell development. In particular, we develop and analyze murine models harbouring CRISPR/Cas9 mediated gene–edited alleles. Up to date, we have established several mouse lines defective in proteins related to DNA–hypercondensation as well as proteins involved in cytoskeletal processes required during male gametogenesis. As such the German Science Foundation (DFG) supports our research with a fully funded Ph.D. position.
