Descripción de la oferta
New junior group leader in Cambridge. The link to the job:
With the support of the Krishnan Ang Foundation and Trinity College, we have funding to start a new research group within Cambridge with a focus on the early biology, detection and treatment of haematological malignancies based in the University of Cambridge Department of Haematology, Cambridge Stem Cell Institute and CRUK Cambridge Haematological Malignancies Virtual Institute.
The funding envelope is the equivalent of an ERC Starting Grant or a large R01 grant. This will include funding for the full non-clinical salary support of the group leader for five years, plus funding for a postdoctoral Research Associate, a Research Assistant, a PhD student and research consumables across that time-period. This provides an exceptional opportunity to start a lab with the potential to become world leading.

The JCBC is located in the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, the largest single biomedical campus outside of North America and home to two NHS hospital trusts with a combined 1600-beds, the headquarters of AstraZeneca and numerous other world-famous academic institutions, such as the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB).
