About Us
We are a young, multidisciplinary research team dedicated to studying the tumor microenvironment (TME) in brain tumors. Our work spans various aspects of the TME, combining cutting-edge techniques and close collaborations with experts in medical oncology, neurosurgery, and radiation physics. (www.oncomet.es)
The Project
This PhD position is part of an exciting project funded in the Proyectos de Generación de Conocimiento (Knowledge Generation Projects) 2024 call. The project aims to unravel the changes in the tumor microenvironment induced by advanced radiation modalities. By exploring these interactions, we strive to uncover novel therapeutic opportunities to improve patient outcomes.

Perfil buscado
What We’re Looking For:
– Academic Background: Candidates with a strong foundation in biology, biotechnology, biomedicine, physics, or related fields.
– Skills: Curiosity, enthusiasm for multidisciplinary research, and a keen interest in the tumor microenvironment and cancer therapies.
– Eligibility: Candidates must meet the requirements to apply for the FPU 2025 program (see detailed in attached form).
