On 25 March, the new Erasmus+ 2021-2027 program was officially launched, presenting both the new annual programme and call for proposals for 2021. With a budget of EUR 26.2 billion, complemented by around EUR 2.2 billion from the EU external cooperation instrument, we will finance Erasmus+ actions in the fields of education, vocational training, youth and sport within and beyond the EU. This budget has almost doubled since the 2014-2020 period and it is certain that this will allow us to promote the construction of a European Education Area and the implementation of the Digital Education Action Plan.
