BICEPS is launching a network of 16 PhD positions across Europe, where young scientists will work at the intersection of neuroscience, immunology, cell biology and biochemistry.
Two PhD candidates will have the opportunity to complete their PhD training at the FMUB, focusing on molecular pathways of mitochondria-immune interaction (http://www.membranetrafficking.com/biceps/DC5.html) or the immune-inflammation axis as an early diagnostic target in PD (http://www.membranetrafficking.com/biceps/DC6.html). Our PhD candidate will be part of a dynamic European network, collaborating across disciplines to transform PD research beyond traditional neuro-centric approaches.
