We present the 48th FEBS Congress – ‘Mining biochemistry for human health and well-being’ – in Milano, Italy, from June 29 to July 3, 2024, for scientists from all over Europe and other parts of the world. The Italian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SIB), founded in 1951, will be the host Society of the event.
The focus on human health and well-being, through molecular and cellular science approaches, reflects a key social issue and a specific commitment of SIB and the whole biochemical community in a time of ongoing global transitions. Besides important research topics following the latest and emerging developments in the biochemical sciences, the Congress activities will include dedicated education-oriented sessions, symposia organized by young biochemists, and biochemistry-related economic discussions. There will also be opportunities for presentations from industry of the latest advances in commercial instrumentation.
The Congress will be preceded by a FEBS Young Scientists’ Forum taking place in Pavia, an historic university town that is a 25-minute train ride south of Milano.
