Descripción de la oferta
We seek a highly motivated candidate to join our research group to study Nr4a2 as a therapeutical target to reverse or delay the early synaptic and cognitive dysfunction in Alzheimer’s disease (AD). The project relies on the combined use of different techniques including inmunohistochemistry, super-resolution microscopy, cloning, cell cultures, behavioural assays and basic molecular biology techniques.
The candidate will join a project where through the administration of AVVs to overexpress Nr4a2 (or drugs that activate Nr4a2), will monitor hippocampal synaptic function and cognitive deficits in the APP/Tau mice. Moreover, the candidate will also analyse miRNAs that control Nr4a2 expression in blood samples from AD patients.
